Pool Care Associate
Avondale, East Mesa, Phoenix (West Valley & Happy Valley), Gilbert, North Scottsdale & Paradise Valley Locations Only
Job Description Summary:
Ensures all customers are approached promptly and with a genuine interest in fulfilling the customer's needs and desires, with honesty and integrity. Has passed Paddock’s Pool Care 101 and Aquachek Bronze level water chemistry courses. Employee must have completed the 90 day probationary period.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Other duties may be assigned. Is responsible for stocking, ticketing, cleaning, keeping pool shop and any other designated areas clean and orderly from opening to closing of store "Disneyland Clean".
- Develops good knowledge of pool products, equipment and water chemistry. Has the ability to test and analyze pool and spa water.
- Loads and unloads weekly stock trucks.
- Assists store management in stocking merchandise and moving patio furniture, and any other areas store management deem necessary.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations uses units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
None are required.
